Chicago-based interior design firm Avenir Creative sought a brand update to reflect their unique storytelling approach and celebrate a decade of success in hospitality design. “We’re designing the future as we honor the past, never accepting boring,” says founder and design director, Julie Purpura. The new identity draws on inspiration from mid-century Italian manufacturing brands and industrial markings, blending touches of classical architecture and design with more starkly Brutalist elements. The wordmark combines mechanical precision with refined elegance, reflecting the firm’s balance of functionality and creativity.
