The Season Program 2023/24 issue is about empty spaces - about voids - and how to deal with them. The 1-minute interpretations of the plays of the coming season, which can be viewed via the app, show how theatre relates to this.

In the concert brochure, we have given the spaces forms of musical punctuation. The phrasing is used to clarify syntactic structures in the notes - like the cooperation in the orchestra.

At the beginning of a play there is often only an idea or a text and an empty space. This gradually fills up with people and their thoughts and above all in the joint play (Markus Müller, artistic director).

We playfully interpreted the overarching idea of the 2023/24 season of the empty space on paper: by making the typography itself an actor and shaping voids, setting texts in motion or or giving them tangible forms.
