This series of posters and promotional material was created to celebrate this year's Folly Jazz Series. The imagery was based off of a language that I developed from observing the performers interaction on stage with their instruments and with each other. I took those symbols printed them,cut them out of paper, and created actual 3D forms. I used a mix of both analogue and digital processes to create more depth and energy than just a single process alone could give me. Improvisation is a fundamental part of Jazz and creating a piece that echoed that experience was crucial. The poster I created for SF Jazz was chosen to be displayed for the series.
