As the U.S. representative at the 57th Venice Biennale, Mark Bradford's exhibition, Tomorrow Is Another Day contends with a range of vital and contested social issues. Surface reads of race, gender, and sexuality give way to Mark's explorations of the deeper complexities between culture, class and economies not always visible to the typical capital radar.

Our visual identity reflects the visually strong and charged social nature of the exhibition through typographic, material, and visual metaphor. It flexes to a variety of containers across media, and address varied audiences with various levels of formality and complexity. Typographically and graphically the identity references the urban grids of Los Angeles and Venice in a fusion of neoclassical and post-modern structures that is harmonized with the artist’s mythic vision.
