A redesign of Stephen Heller and Phillip B. Meggs’ Texts on Type: Critical Writings on Typography. Guided by the principles of “order, simplicity, and grace” that are highlighted in the book’s foreword, the treatment of the essay text and table of contents features undulating columns that create a gentle rhythm. That same treatment is applied to the chapter spreads, with the chapter titles split across the book’s spine. The principles of order, simplicity, and grace are also evident in the tracked out type of the chapter numbers and the minimal color palette.
